Hello Spring, because – well – where was Winter anyway?
We are looking forward to the beginning of the season – a new start with some exciting projects on the horizon.
As in previous Spring’s, I want to take a moment to highlight the importance of service and maintenance to your landscape lighting system. It was a valuable investment at the time of purchase, and it deserves up-keep to maintain the original inegrity of the lighting design.
Our maintenance service includes:
- Fixture care – gasket lubricant, anti-corosion compound at pins & sockets, lens cleaning, leveling, and repositioning if required.
- Lamp care – testing to ensure all bulbs and integratee-LED light fixtures operate and perform to original specifications.
- Transformer care – checking connections at terminals, testing and resetting (as required) timer, and electrical testing.
- Timer care – replace batteries if required.
- Tree-mounted care – loosening both fixture & wire fasteners away from the tree, and replacing any fasteners as required.
- Wire care – looking for any exposed wire and re-burying.
It is also a good time to re-assess your lighting to see if any changes or additions have been made to your landscape. Perhaps some dark spots exist that call for some new lighting.
